about

Another one from 1994. I always liked the sincere, friendly nature of this one. And I always loved the bassline coming from my Mini Korg 700. There never actually was a Sumner Street. I made that up. The name, however, may have been a nod to Sting, whose real name is Gordon Sumner. I always thought this kind of had a Brian Wilson feel to it. I actually played this live once, I think. A later version of this appeared on my 2012 album "A Clientele of One".
